My grandmothers flat

At my grandmother’s flat, I felt safe. Even though at a later hour, her pots in the kitchen would start making noises.

Sometimes it would be so loud that my Grandma would call out from the living room to them to shut up. She would say “you either come and watch TV with me or you are quiet. Have you understood? I want to watch my program!” Silence followed the rest of the evening. At that time, I was not too sure to whom she was talking; it was a bit freaky, though.

I didn’t ask her either. When I think about it, I never got hurt nor do I know someone who did.
